Fishing Charter Rates:

Affordable full day, three quarter day and half day fishing charters.  While deep sea fishing with Fire Hatt, you could catch marlin, wahoo, ono, mahi, spearfish and many other pelagic fish.

Reservations and Payment:  To make a fishing charter reservation, we need a valid credit card number to hold the reservation.  No charge will be made until your charter day, when you arrive.  At that time you can leave the charges on the card or pay with one of the above listed methods.  A Deposit of 25% is required at time of Booking.  We will refund your deposit as long as you cancel your reservation within 48 hours of your scheduled charter.  Less than 48 hours cancellation is subject to full charge. 
 

Gratuity:  The Captain and Crew on your fishing charter will do everything in their power to ensure you have a wonderful fishing experience.   Captain and Crew split their tip.  The gratuity amount should be based on service, not whether or not a fish was caught.  A good rule is to use standard gratuity as for fine restaurants, 15% - 20% depending on your experience on the water.  Although Kona provides some of the best quality big game fishing in the world, it is fishing, and you may not catch fish, but you should have a great day on the water with Fire Hatt.

From Kailua-Kona, take hwy 19 north (approximately 3 miles) and turn left into Honokohau Harbor at Kealakehe Parkway.   Take the first right and follow the road to the Sea Store & Deli; turn left just past the deli into the parking area.  FIRE HATT is in the third slip just right of boat launch ramp. 

Fish Conservation:

At Fire Hatt Sportfishing we believe in Tag and Release of pelagic marlin, and will release at the anglers request.  We can arrange to have your catch sized and mounted without harm to your marlin or other pelagic fish.  Table fish from ahi (tuna), ono (wahoo), mahi mahi (dolphin fish, dorado), spearfish and other species, cut on request.
